Happy New Year

If you have been looking at my blog in the past or if its your first time here, may I wish you all a Very Happy New Year.

This year I am going to try to blog some watercolours a little more often than in the past, however that will also depend on the time I can devote to painting as well!

The start off 2013 I thought I would create a Blog on great coastal scenic drives that we have taken. There are many more we would like to take but they are for the future.

Even so we have been lucky enough to tour some of these spectacular roads and from the photos that I have taken I have produced some watercolours.

So for this first blog I have chosen the road from San Diego to San Francisco. This is the longest, mostly coastal route; the Esterel Peninsula in the South of France and the Antrim coast road in Northern Ireland. These we know quite well but in further posts I hope to add others.

I hope you enjoy these paintings.
