We have just returned from a great cruise with friends around South East Asia, starting in Singapore, and going to Thailand, Cambodia,Vietnam and finishing in Hong Kong. It was a great experience. Such a fascinating part of the world and this trip only gave us glimpse of its wonders.
We also left the ship for a few days to go to Siem Reap in Cambodia to see the wonderful temples at Angkor
Wat. They are really amazing and offer many possibilities for further paintings.
During the cruise I was able to paint a few small watercolours which will hopefully lead on to some further painting over the next few months.
Anyway here they are, at least as a starter. I hope you enjoy them.
- Larger painting of The Japanese bridge in Hoi An
- Halong Bay in Vietnam on a misty morning
- The temple at Angkor Wat
- Fishing Junks in Halong bay
- Quick painting of Hoi An,Vietnam. The 15th century Japanese Bridge
- Halong Bay, Vietnam in sunshine.
- The 57 storey Marina Bay Sands in Singapore
- Fishing boats at Hoi An, in Vietnam
- Fruit seller at Hoi An
- Ko Kood in Thailand, the beautiful beach.
These are super Brian – you have been busy! With a few quick sketches you have really captured these mystical and magical places – am very impressed. Andrea
